Description[]

(G)I-DLE announces a splendid comeback by simultaneously releasing their first full album [I NEVER DIE] since their debut all over the world. In 2021, with the release of 'HWAA', they broke their own best records, such as climbing to the top of iTunes album charts in 52 regions around the world, and showed amazing potential in the domestic and foreign music markets. We are going to continue our unrivaled steps as a global trending artist once again by sharing about our achievements and values.

[I NEVER DIE] is an album that contains not only what was given to (G)I-DLE, but also their feelings and thoughts about all prejudices in the world. (G)I-DLE who face the world without backing down say that I am only me and never lose their worth.

The nine tracks of various genres such as alternative rock, pop, R&B, and hip-hop included in the album clearly reveal the free-spirited and intense colors of (G)I-DLE, foreshadowing the birth of another alum. (G)I-DLE, who participated in composing and writing lyrics for all songs, including the title song 'TOMBOY', is also enough to attract global fans' attention.

The title song 'TOMBOY' is a song that fully reveals (G)I-DLE's unique, confident attitude. Direct lyrics such as “I'm not a doll” and “Just me I-DLE” make the listener uncontrollable, creating a geeky character. It reminds me and presents a more daring charm. In addition, (G)I-DLE's unique voice and rough and majestic instrumental sound, the hook, and the addictive variation section that flows when the atmosphere is heightened are also points to watch for this song.

The three visual concepts consist of the breathtaking noir-style 'RiSKY', the relaxed and cool revenge squad concept of 'CHiLL', and 'SPOiLED', which expresses the main character who can't be hated but selfish. It predicted the emotional line. Furthermore, the music video captures the rebellious and daring female protagonist who cannot hurt anything other than the story of the obvious female protagonist crying in love, leaving a lingering impression as if watching a tense noir movie.

(G)I-DLE once again proved their irreplaceable presence by revealing the charms of five people and five colors with [I NEVER DIE]. Just as the genre of (G)I-DLE has no end, their musical journey is also going to go on without end. Attention is paid to the global syndrome that (G)I-DLE will cause in 2022.[1]
