(G)I-dle's second breakup title song, "Hwaa (火花)", is a song that expresses the cold and chilly atmosphere of winter with oriental instruments, allowing the listener to experience the bitterness of separation. It is a moombahton genre song that features an addictive hook and changing lyrics that expresses the emotions after a breakup with the ambiguous subject of "hwaa".[1]

  • "HWAA" is connected to "HANN (Alone)".
  • "HWAA" was created in 2019 after Queendom. It was the candidate title track for their comeback in April 2020 but "Oh my god" was chosen instead.
  • Soyeon stated that this song was inspired by Shuhua saying "winter girl".
  • "HWAA" was re-released as a single on January 27, 2021, which included English and Chinese versions of the song.
